I miss the LILACS of Lombard, IL
This LILAC is from California, where they don't grow so great and plentiful, like they did back in Illinois. I remember at my house in LaGrange the whole length of the driveway was a hedge of lilac bushes. Oh I miss that smell....

Early Valentine
I almost stole this bush once, when the house was abandoned. But it would've been to hard to dig up. And besides, it was on a busy street corner, I certainly didn't wanna go to jail for stealing a shrub....I can't believe it's in bloom already. Even funnier, I took this shot with my big zoom lens...not meant for close-ups. I didn't have my regular lens with me. I thought I'd shoot it anyway.

Sparrow in Hawaii
Got this shot of a sparrow while we "dined" on food at the USS Missouri, or affectionately called "Mighty Mo".
This makes a GREAT desktop wallpaper...enjoy!
